About Me

My name is Rini de Weijze, I live in Monnickendam, Netherlands (10 km north of Amsterdam).

My satellite-hobby is at the first place Feedhunting.

I work with a Maxplus HTS 2100s+ or with the MaxDigital 220 S and with the Fortec Lifetime Ultra and a 100 c.m. Philips Gregorian dish with Quad 0.3 Invacom LNB. Sometimes I also work with DreamDVB using the SkyStar 2 PC-card on my computer. My dish can turn from 53 degrees east till 45 degrees west.

Feeds:

Feeds are broadcasts, they are not in regular time. Feeds are recordings of disasters, sportgames, big demonstrations , sportgames and others. Sometimes you can see reporters that are still preparing their broadcasts. They will be transmitted between SNG-cars and the studio for operation and broadcast.

How I am working as a feedhunter?

With my Blind Scan receiver ( Maxplus HTS 2100S+ or the MaxDigital 220S) I scan a whole satellite (sometimes a part) and look than if there are feeds. Than I publish them at several Internet-feeds-forums.

Sometimes I scan with DreamDVB on my computer.
